Waste Disposal for Biohazards
Biohazard waste is any biological waste that is potentially infectious. In the Department of Biotechnology, Biohazard waste management is regulated by EN-CLER Biomedical Waste Private Limited, Surat. They have agreed to dispatch the Biomedical Waste as per rules and regulations of Gujarat Pollution Board.
Library
The department boasts of its own library stocked with multiple and reference copies of all necessary literary material like books, journals, magazines, periodicals etc.
Laboratories
The department has three Research and four General Laboratories and two Instrument Rooms equipped with all the required instruments.
